Posture & Training
Don't think for one minute that your fitness journey starts with heavy weights and tons of HIIT! NO. It starts from the inside out, if you have postural problems, injuries or a weak core you can be sure that this will need to be addressed in order for you to get the most out of your training. The aim is to prevent injuries and make you strong. Flexibility, strength, corrective exercise and diet it's all covered.

Yin Yoga
What is Yin Yoga? Well it's completely different from Yang Yoga. Yang is hot, moving, fluid, so think of your Ashtanga, Iyenger, Vinyasa flow.

Yin is floor based. Slow, deep, meditative, very breath focused. We, of course should practise both for balance. If you already train, or do sports that would be classed as Yang activities. So Yin is the other side, the balance.

Yin readdresses this balance, Yin is time for you to slow down, breathe and heal your already stressed out life, have some time for you.
I discovered Yin Yoga from the amazing Kate Ashley who sadly passed away last year, right after I had finished her course. She inspired me so much with her knowledge and her approach to yoga, it wasn't one of fixed holds and contorting your body into impossible shapes it was free...... Free to move into positions that YOUR body can do, no pulling or pushing, no forcing.
This beautiful practice is for all. There is no right or wrong way to practice Yin, it just is. All you need to do is listen to your body and melt into positions that will, I guarantee relieve stress, tension & alleviate pain.
We are all unique and different so the different levels do not matter in Yin you can go deep, you can't go deep, it doesn't matter. You do what you need for you, your body & your mind.
