 Yin Yoga Classes

Yin Yoga is not about flowing through different postures standing up and turning yourself into a pretzel. Far from it. Yin Yoga is all about tuning into yourself, breathing deeply, listening to your body and allowing tension, emotions and stress to release.  

​

In our busy lives we hardly ever get a chance to have some time to relax, de-stress, unwind and calm our minds.  Yin Yoga offers many benefits from increased flexibility to helping with aches and pains and because of it's meditative qualities it can also really help with our daily lives and the constant pressure we are put under on a daily basis. 

 

Calming down and having a little 'me' time is just what the Dr ordered when he recommended a yoga class, so if you're suffering with mental overload, aches and pains, stress or you just want to stretch out and ease those aching muscles from too much sport or weight training then this is definitely the class for you! 

​

Yin Yoga is not about looking like the instagram pictures of a young and fit 20 something....... in fact Yin is about feeling the pose not what it looks like. Your body, your shape, where you feel the pose is completely and utterly personal to you and lets face it no two bodies are the same. 

 

Poses are floor based, held for 2-5 minutes, deep breathing, supported and releasing tension emotions and tightness.  Everyone is different and individual so Yin is suitable for ALL.
